Environment - from values to guidelines
The founder of Tammerneon Oy, Markku Koskenniemi, has always valued nature and felt responsible for our shared environment.
We have followed ecological and sustainable principles for over 40 years now.
We note environmental viewpoints in all our operations, and we develop and manufacture sustainable solutions for illuminated signs.
Our responsible and consistent effort to provide better and greener communications has been awarded with the ISO 14001:2004 environmental certificate and the ISO 9001:2008 quality certificate, among others.
Last spring, we launched an environmental line
graph to communicate our efforts for greener illuminated products and
sustainable solutions. At the end of November, we received a favourable
decision from the National Board of Patents and Registration Finland
concerning the registration of our own environmental label.
The green footprint and the magnifying glass in our environmental logo
represent how we have minimised the ecological footprint of our products using
environmentally friendlier and sustainable materials and components and such
processes that put a minimal strain on the environment.
